An enduro riding day is also scheduled on our tour, so you can enjoy our Yamaha WR250 bikes in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains. After changing the "cars" and preparing for a few days of adventure riding through the most beautiful natural landscapes in Romania, high altitude roads (Transfăgărășan and Transalpina), enjoying these amazing places from the handlebars of the new Yamaha Tenere 700 Going on all these vehicles in one tour and exploring what wild Romania has to offer will surely put a smile on your face and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Route

Day 1: Hotel transfer from the airport (Otopeni, Bucharest), short training and Briefing

Day 2: Our first day of riding is dedicated to the new version of Yamaha, Tenere 700, a real adventure bike that will offer a huge amount of pure fun that will take us to the mountain city of Sinaia. From there, we will experience the journey on the Transbucegi road, which will take us to the Bucegi Mountains Plateau.

This beautiful cul-de-sac will take you to the Bucegi Natural Park, a terrain that offers colorful posters of flowers and leaves, as well as numerous hiking trails that will lead you directly into the heart of nature.

After enjoying the heights of the Bucegi Plateau, we will descend to the bottom of the valley where we will discover Lake Bolboci, which is one of the hidden treasures of the Bucegi Mountains, a vast lake created by blocking the Ialomița River with a dam in 1988. Also called The sea from Bucegi, Lake Bolboci is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in the Bucegi massif.

Day 3: It's time to travel amazingly side by side, from Yamaha, YXZ1000R. A whole day behind the wheel of this car, which crosses mountain roads, forests and villages, will definitely put a big smile on your face. We will spend the night in Cheile Grădiștii resort, in a fairytale landscape that offers overwhelming views of the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains.

Day 4: Being in this beautiful landscape, we will have a day to explore the Leaota and Bucegi mountains, riding the WR 250 Yamaha, through mountain trails, forests and alpine areas. We will return to the same resort, to enjoy the local cuisine, the campfire and prepare for the next day.

Day 5: This is the day when we will change the way of travel again, back to the incredible Tenere 700. A beautiful day ahead, as the Transfăgărășan road awaits us, with its endless turns.

Transfăgărășan offers many more, besides the amazing riding experience, connecting the south of Romania with Transylvania, going directly over the Făgăraș Mountains massif through five tunnels and winding roads that needed 6,500 tons of dynamite to be built.

Transfăgărășan has a length of 90 km and reaches an altitude of 2,042 meters, being the second highest road in Romania after Transalpina which has a maximum altitude of 2,145 meters. A real road out of the clouds, but with a history that has a lot to do with the communist regime and its obsession with oversized projects.

Day 6: will catch us close to the city of Sibiu, the home of Red Bull Româniacs, as many say, the most difficult hard enduro race on the face of Planet Earth.

We will travel in the remote mountain area and discover the Transalpina, also known as The King’s Road, the highest road in Romania, which exceeds 2145m above sea level.

Day 7: This will be the last day of riding and will take us back to Bucharest, leaving behind the beautiful mountain areas. It will be a beautiful walk of 280 km on the hills south of the Carpathian Mountains.

Day 8: Airport transfer from the hotel and departure.
